In this project, STEM has mainly performed a role of document analysis, to verify the conformity of the product, built and CE marked by the Chinese manufacturer, imported and used by our Italian customer for the realization of air conditioning systems.
The technical analysis has above all affected compliance with the safety requirements set out in the Low Voltage Directive 2014/35/EU, with particular reference to the harmonized standard EN 60335 relating to the safety of electrical appliances for domestic and similar use.
STEM, in more detail, has analyzed some construction aspects related to the safety of the appliance, such as protection from active parts, internal wiring (correct identification, sheath color, section), IP protection degree, instructions for use, the correctness of the Declaration of Conformity and the CE plate.
Finally, the test reports issued by the laboratory that performed the type tests were evaluated, in accordance with the aforementioned harmonized standard.
